Business Process Automation workshop held

A Colombo, Sri Lanka-based business process automation (BPA) consultancy, ICT Internet Presence, recently concluded a workshop in its home city which offered participants a view of BPA using Microsoft's SharePoint workplace collaboration suite.

According to a company statement; "Microsoft's SharePoint system is very flexible and allows for the creation of cost-effective, industrial strength solutions very quickly. The latest version of SharePoint offers enhanced integration between all Microsof Office applications providing a seamless portal for entire businesses."

Also indicated, the workshop was conducted by the company's Chief Technology Officer, and SharePoint Workflow Expert - Australia, Jey Srikantha, in conjunction with Wellington Perera, DPE Director, Microsoft Sri Lanka, and SharePoint MVP Prabath Fonseka. Further, the event featured representatives from Hatton National Bank, Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation, Jetwing, Arpico, Loadstar, MAS Holdings, Maskeliya Plantation PLC, Brandix, Stassen Group and the Commercial Credit Group amongst others.
The company also noted that it "builds business process applications on Microsoft SharePoint using InfoPath, K2 Workflow and related .NET based technologies" as well as providing "Consulting, Training, Marketing, Social Business, Mobile Apps, Cloud Apps and Business Process Automation services to Sri Lanka, Australia and Europe."
