The Central Bank’s next Monetary Policy Review will be announced on Tuesday, January 23 at 7.30 am. This announcement sets the trends on whether interest rates are going up or coming down, the bank said.
Last week, the bank said the Monetary Review Policy, which has traditionally been held by the then Monetary Board every month followed by an announcement to the market, will henceforth be announced only six times a year, on a bi-monthly basis.
