The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) on Thursday saw very low turnover compared to the whole of last year with stockbrokers saying the market is getting into a bearish trend.
This is the first time in the recent history that such low turnover of Rs. 3.56 billion was recorded and it is less than half of what usually has been.
The All Share Price Index was up 125.77 points to close at 12,207.46 with S&P SL 20 up by 64.95 points to close at 4,117.53.
