Colombo share prices rose moderately on Monday with the ASPI rising by 146.36 points or 1.14 per cent to 13,009.50, brokers said.
Turnover was nearly Rs. 7 billion while the S&P SL20 was up by 15.37 points or 0.35 per cent to 4,395.92.
Meanwhile in a Colombo Stock Exchange filing, the directors of the CEAT-Kelani tyres joint venture said that the directors at a meeting on January 27 had approved a capital expenditure of Rs.3.2 billion.
