John Keells Properties has tied up with Hatton National Bank to offer its exclusive Freedom Mortgages home financing scheme for potential homeowners looking to invest in its much- awaited TRI-ZEN development.
The Freedom Mortgage plan promises customers the financial relief of a two-year interest free period on their mortgage, with the customer only having to pay 20% up front. The bank will fund up to 80% of the purchase price and the loan will be offered at attractive interest rates starting from just 7%, HNB said in a media release.
“Investors are faced with an unprecedented opportunity to purchase a home in the heart of the city through the Freedom Mortgage plan. Once the first 20% is paid, the customers do not need to make any further payments for a period of 2 years through this scheme, and the bank can also offer a grace on the capital repayment for up to 5 years. Additionally, the loan process is supported by HNB's back-end processes to ensure a three-day loan approval period for all applications,” it said.
"This partnership is an ideal opportunity for prospective homeowners looking to invest in a modern living space for their dream home," HNB Deputy General Manager- Retail and SME Banking Sanjay Wijemanne said.
