KBSL Information Technologies has been awarded the Great Place to Work® certification for the period of May 2021 to April 2022.
The certification recognises the company as being an empowering organisation that has created positive employee experiences, high-trust relationships, and a workplace that is fair and equal. While the company continues to excel in its efforts to deliver state-of-the-art solutions for major organisations across the island, they are also committed to transcending ordinary, uninspired workplace cultures by nurturing an environment that allows its employees to develop and succeed. This certification underscores KBSL's journey thus far and the company is eager to build upon this foundation and take steps to excel in every aspect, the company said in a media release.
“Based on the survey conducted by Great Place to Work®, we were able to assess our workplace culture against other great places to work, and we are truly honoured to receive this certification. Every organisation is striving for business excellence, which cannot be done without a collaborative and trustworthy work environment,” said Ruwan Fernando, Chief Operating Officer of KBSL. “We as a company believe we can always strive to be better; we embarked on this journey of change and are now seeing the results and reaping the benefits,” he further added.
The report concluded that KBSL's Trust Index ® score had a significant 11-point jump as well as an increase in Culture Audit ® score since the last assessment. Participation in the audit also saw a substantial improvement from last year with 94% of employees partaking in the survey, exemplary of the employees' confidence that their feedback will make a difference. Moreover, to achieve this certification while working through the challenges of a global pandemic distinguishes KBSL as an employer of choice and further motivates employees while boosting confidence in the organisation.
