Founded in 2006 with a team of just six individuals, Lakderana Investments has grown into a well-established financial services provider with 32 branches across Sri Lanka. Over the past two decades, the company has served SMEs and Micro entrepreneurs Islandwide, supporting their working capital requirements through
a range of financial products.

Lakderana’s services cater to multiple sectors including Agriculture, Transport, Hiring, Trading, Fisheries, Poultry, and wholesale and retail businesses, contributing to the growth of grassroots entrepreneurship and local industries.

Demonstrating strategic agility, the company has also expanded into gold loan services under the brands “Ran Saviya” and “Ran Ithiriya.” Within just three years, this segment has grown rapidly, enabling Lakderana to serve customers efficiently while maintaining a conservative gearing structure to ensure long term financial stability.
