NDB Bank showcased its commitment to the nation's youth and catering to the needs of their future at the prestigious EDEX Expo 2024 held at the Sri Lanka Exhibition and Convention Centre (SLECC) in Colombo from February 9th to 11th.
The focal point of NDB Bank's participation at the EDEX Expo was the spotlight on its groundbreaking offering, the NDB ZEE Youth Account. With its digitally enhanced features, the account is tailored for young individuals aged 18 to 28 and represents more than just a conventional banking service; it serves as a gateway to endless opportunities and possibilities. This innovative account aligns seamlessly with the bank's vision to empower the youth, providing them with the tools needed to excel in the dynamic world of the future, the bank said in a media release.
At the EDEX Expo 2024, NDB Bank's dedicated “ZEE Spark” stall went above and beyond to support the aspirations of young attendees. The bank's HR experts offered personalised career guidance sessions, empowering participants to chart a clear path towards their professional goals. Attendees also had the opportunity to register for a free career guidance session, emphasising NDB's commitment to fostering the career development of Sri Lanka's youth.
In collaboration with esteemed education partners, NDB Bank introduced installment plans for higher education with 0% interest. This initiative not only makes quality education more accessible but also eases the financial burden on students and their families when preparing for the future. As a further testament to its commitment, the bank offered a free NDB credit card with no joining fees and waived off the first-year annual fee for applicants who signed up at the expo.
The release said that NDB Bank's presence at EDEX Expo 2024 reaffirmed its position as a driving force for youth empowerment and development in Sri Lanka. As the nation's leading financial institution, NDB remains steadfast in its mission to nurture talent, foster innovation, and empower the next generation of leaders, gearing them up for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
