The Colombo Rubber Auction this week saw an increase of prices for all grades up by Rs.10 which was considered a fair increase.
Asia Siyaka Brokers noted that the auctions did not indicate any impact of the Ukraine war and rubber continued to receive good demand and the sentiment was the same as last week.
Total offered this week was 229, 600 kg for Latex crepe, scrap crepe and skim an increase of last week’s quantities that were 205, 075 kg. There were 6087 kg offered for RSS grades that was lower than last week’s quantities 8318 kg.
