Six Food & Agri Companies embark on the Road to Regen Accelerator Program with Good Life X, supported by the EU, Germany and GIZ

Good Life X launches the Road to Regen Accelerator Program, utilizing regenerative models to innovate 6 food and agri entrepreneurs to scale and become future proof against the changing global trends and regional competition. The Road to Regen is supported by the 'Support to Small and Medium Enterprises in the Organic Agriculture Sector' Programme, jointly co-financed by the European Union (EU) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), implemented by GIZ Sri Lanka.

The 6 selected startups are: Blackpool Coffee, Dev’s Vanilla Plantation, Nursery and Training Center, Herbal Care Industries, iGrow Lanka, Midigama Fruit Farm and The Renewable Energy Solutions. Each startup has an organic or regenerative product or solution that is working towards adding value to the export portfolio of the country. These entrepreneurs are strengthening the regenerative organic agriculture ecosystem, supply chains while mitigating food security risks in Sri Lanka.

The new cohort engaging with previous alumni and experts of Good Life X programs to foster connections beyond the program 

Participants will undergo a rapid immersive 3-month program, beginning with a diagnostics deep dive followed by knowledge sharing, technical capacity building and mentoring with local and international experts and a community event to deepen connections within the local ecosystem. The program ends with investor-ready pitch coaching in preparation for the Demo Day event at the end of August. Weaved into the program is Good Life X’s newly launched THRIVE BMC - The Regenerative Business Model Canvas. The canvas, model and mindset tools will be used to identify how each company can bring more value to their ecosystems than they are taking - creating thriving business communities across Sri Lanka as they #BuildBackBetter and #ScaleTheGood.
