Suriya Resort in Waikkala, one of Sri Lanka's top tourist attractions, recently opened its newly built Lake View reception hall, further expanding the services provided to its customers. The Lake View reception hall is ideal for weddings, birthday parties, office functions, meetings and conferences. Suriya Resort has also expanded and modernised its main restaurent.
With an investment of Rs. 250 million, this new construction and renovation was carried out by Suriya Resort with the intention of making a significant contribution to the country's growing tourism industry.
The newly built reception hall has a capacity of 250 guests and is built on towers in a magnificent aquatic environment full of mangroves. It is unique that it has been built in such a way that it looks like an ancient royal palace from the outside. Suriya Resort's main reception hall can accommodate 550 guests, and with the Lake View reception hall, it has the capacity to accommodate 800 guests at one time.
The upper floor of the Lake View reception room has a balcony that can accommodate up to 50 guests. It is an ideal location for events like hosting cocktail parties. It has been designed so that guests can view the river and aquatic environment, and have an unforgettable experience.
A special discount for Master Card is available on weekdays for guests visiting Suriya Resort until 31 July, while many other discounts are usually available on weekdays. The Resort's General Manager Lal Dissanayake invites guests to visit Suriya Resort to spend a holiday in luxury with mouthwatering dishes.
