Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa announced its participation in ‘Road to Give 2024’ an inspiring initiative by Marriott International. Now in its 10th year, Road to Give unites associates, guests and communities across the Asia Pacific region in a collective effort to support meaningful local causes.
The event will be held on October 10, from 6:30 AM – 9:30 AM at Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa
The event aims to enhance the lives of the children at the village by providing much-needed resources for their education and well-being.
A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
Update: Five of the twelve passengers on board the bell 212 aircraft that crashed into the Maduru Oya today, have succumbed to their injuries, the SLAF said.
