Sri Lanka’s biggest insurer, Ceylinco Insurance has reported another successful year, recording a post-tax profit of Rs.2.1 billion for the year ended 31st December 2014. In a statement on Monday, the company said the General and Life Divisions of Ceylinco Insurance, recorded profits after tax of Rs.780 million and Rs.1,363 million, respectively. “Moreover, the consolidated results recorded an imposing expansion, with the profit before tax reaching an exceptional Rs.4 billion, and the after tax profit standing at Rs.2.9 billion,” the company said. - ENDS -
