Colombo shares continues recovery mode

Colombo shares on Friday continued the recovery momentum to end the week on a positive note. The main bourse advanced by 37 index points or 0.53 per cent to end at 6,984.12 while S&P SL 20 Index gained 45.52 points or per cent to end at 3,916.23. Blue chips gave the market momentum as heavy weight counters like John Keells Holdings Hatton National Bank (closed at LKR 207.90, +2.4%) and Asian Hotels & Properties inclined in today’s session.
