Colombo equities which started weekly operations on a negative note on Monday, bounced back in early trade on Tuesday, with renewed retail interest, analysts said.
Albeit the upward momentum, early trade was on thin market activity with analysts predicting that retailers are likely to hold both indices robust till mid day. The benchmark All Share price index increased marginally by 0.06 per cent to stand at 7,140.70 by 10.15 am while the S&P SL 20 index saw a 0.12 per cent rise to stand at 4,089.72 on Rs. 153.9 million turnover.
