INSEE Cement is extending an exclusive concessionary rate for its flagship homebuilding brand INSEE SANSTHA for all Sri Lanka Air Force and Navy personnel as well as retired and disabled servicemen through the Ranaviru Seva Authority.
This new initiative is an extension of the Phase I programme launched in August 2020, offering INSEE SANSTHA to Sri Lanka Army personnel, the company said in a media release.
The signing of the Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) took place on December 7, at the Ministry of Defence headquarters in the presence of Major General (Retd) Kamal Gunaratne, Secretary, Ministry of Defence, and Major General (Retd) Nandana Senadeera, Chairman, Ranaviru Seva Authority.
Present on the occasion and attesting as representatives for each military department were Air Vice Marshal D.K. Wanigasooriya, Director Welfare, Sri Lanka Air Force; Commodore P.N. Withanage, Director Naval Welfare, Sri Lanka Navy and Brigadier S.P.V.S. Subasinghe, Director, Ranaviru Seva Authority. Nandana Ekanayake, Chairman, INSEE Cement and Jan Kunigk, Executive Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Innovation, represented the company.
“We are happy to be offering Sri Lanka’s most loved homebuilding cement brand SANSTHA to all armed forces personnel island-wide,” stated Mr. Ekanayake. “As a responsible corporate citizen, INSEE Cement believes that this is a great initiative to show our gratitude to the armed forces, our respect to personnel of all ranks, and also as an example to instill national-mindedness among Sri Lankans.”
