Daya Gamage, UNP Parliamentarian and newly appointed Minister and his wife Anoma, also a parliamentarian, have resigned from the board of Bimputh Finance Plc, the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) was informed on Tuesday. Mr. Gamage and Ms Gamage were chairman and Non-Executive Director, respectively, of the finance company which is owned by their Daya Group. No reasons were given for the resignation but it appears to be connected to their new public appointments. – Ends -
