Colombo shares lost ground on Tuesday, owing to pressure from not-so-good-results posted by listed companies and the fact that corporate taxation matters was still unresolved, analysts said. They added that investors are anticipating an interest rate hike in the medium term, despite today's unchanged rates announced by the Monetary Policy Review by the Central Bank. The All Share Price index lost 0.21 per cent to close at 7,311.29, with the S&P SL20 losing 0.57 per cent close at 4,103.77 on a turnover amounting to Rs. 1.2 billion.
