Mobitel has introduced a special package for the first time in Sri Lanka to fulfill the long-felt need for data amongst viewers by offering unlimited video streaming in HD across a range of platforms for an affordable Rs. 2,750 + taxes monthly.
Valid for postpaid connections only, this package can be activated as an add-on plan through the Datamart App, the company said this week.
With this new offering, Mobitel customers can now watch their favorite TV series, Films, Documentaries and many more via PEO TV GO, YouTube, Netflix, SRIFlix, Amazon Prime Video, iflix and ZEE5 with super-fast 4G network. This package enables subscribers to watch hours of online content that is both entertaining and informative. “Coupled with the new and exciting unlimited HD video streaming package, subscribers can leverage on Mobitel’s superfast streaming experience without having to wait for content to download. Over the years, Mobitel has taken swift measures to improve its broadband networking by expanding its 4G network thus offering customers a smooth and fast broadband experience,” it said in a media release.
Furthermore, as a value addition, Mobitel has added 3GB free on the package to fulfill subscribers’ other surfing needs. Mobitel plans to include more platforms into its portfolio based on customer demand/usage on video platforms in order to continuously provide the best unlimited packages to customers.
