One suspect has been arrested with hi-tech communication devices and other suspicious items in Ratmalana this morning.
The arrest was made during a search carried out by the Criminal Investigations Department at the suspect's residence.
A car, hi-tech communication devices, 18 electric circuits, 13 SIM cards and several phones were seized from the suspect.
Further, a laptop, a PC, eight CDs containing religious content, and two hard drives of 1 TB capacity each was also confiscated from the individual during the search.
CID officials had also seized certain letters believed to linked with the National Thowheed Jamath group which is currently banned in the country.
