St.Joseph's College, Colombo 10, recently organized an essay
competition for the students, in view of the International Children's Day.
The students were requested to select and write on one of the following topics;
"Good habits will give you a better future",
"My experience with Christ", Reading maketh a full person"
"My vision for a better future", Children, the future of the nation", and "Role of Religion in creating Peace and Harmony".
WINNERS OF THE CHILDREN'S DAY ESSAY COMPETITION 2022 :
Primary School- Iyantha Perera, ( First place).
Middle School- Shane Trehash, (First Place), Master Kevin A Weligamaarachchi, (Second Place), Master Rusandu Dewmina and Gavin George secured the third place.
Upper School - Charyan Anthony,(First Place) Yenul Dias, (Second Place), Senush Fernando, (Third Place).
The organizing Committee was comprised of Reverend Father Ranjith Andradi, The Rector/ Principal of St.Joseph’s College, Mrs.Vyjainthi Anthick, The Prefect of Studies and Maruthai Ravindhiran, The Confidential Secretary to the Reverend Father Rector.
