Duo of proficient artists Hemantha Warakapitiya and Lalith Ranasinghe would be having their art exhibition “Rhythm of the brush at Lionel Wendt.
The art exhibition’s opening ceremony would be held in the evening July 05 2024 and would be open for the public from 8.30 am to 7.30 pm on July 06 and 07, 2024
The art exhibition showcases portraits, environment and nature as well as wildlife artwork. The exhibition would have over 70 paintings.
Artist Hemantha Warakapitiya a professional artist, a newspaper cartoonist who caricatured political cartoons as well as a former comic artist (Chithra Katha) who works in the media field.
Artist Laith Ranasinghe is a Senior Deputy Director at the Sri Lanka customs. Mr Ranasinghe was interested in art from a younger age and had learned art from school and followed his passion of art even while he studied economics, Political science. He also carried out his passion in art while working at Customs.
