Marking 15 years of advancing innovation, creativity, and collaboration, the SLDF organised by the Academy of Design (AOD), highlights the transformative power of design and the role played by creative industries in driving economic recovery with this year’s theme ‘Innovation Island’.
An exciting blend of exhibitions, immersive workshops, discussions, and interactive experiences is on over the four days.

The Embassy of Italy in Sri Lanka is launching the 9th Edition of the Worldwide Italian Cuisine Week from November 16-22. Following the launch event, leading hotels will have their own ‘Italian Cuisine Week’ with Chefs from Italy flown down especially for this promotional week highlighting the cuisine of their respective regions.

Former State Minister Lohan Ratwatte passed away today while receiving treatment at a private hospital in Colombo, his family said. He was 57. Recently, he was admitted to hospital following an illness.
