The Royal Asiatic Society of Sri Lanka (RASSL), one of the nation's oldest scholarly institutions, will celebrate the 181st anniversary of its founding with a special commemorative programme on Saturday, February 7, at 3 p.m at its premises at No. 96, Ananda Coomaraswamy Mawatha,Colombo 7.
A special lecture will be delivered by Ven. Siri Wajiraramaye Ñāṇasīha Thero (Mr. Olcott Gunasekara, prior to ordination), on "Bridging the Past and the Future: Keeping RASSL Relevant for a New Generation." The lecture is open to all.
