The Royal Asiatic Society of Sri Lanka (RASSL), one of the nation's oldest scholarly institutions, will celebrate the 181st anniversary of its founding with a special commemorative programme on Saturday, February 7, at 3 p.m at its premises at No. 96, Ananda Coomaraswamy Mawatha,Colombo 7.

A special lecture will be delivered by Ven. Siri Wajiraramaye Ñāṇasīha Thero (Mr. Olcott Gunasekara, prior to ordination), on "Bridging the Past and the Future: Keeping RASSL Relevant for a New Generation." The lecture is open to all.

 Kala Pola ’26, Sri Lanka’s annual open-air art fair, will take place on Sunday, February 8 along Ananda Coomaraswamy Mawatha (Green Path), Colombo 07. Now in its 33 rd edition, the fair will be open to the public from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The HSBC Ceylon Literary & Arts Festival returns for its much anticipated third edition from February 13 to 15 as the ‘Festival on Beira’ at Cinnamon Lakeside. Edition 3 of the HSBC CLF will bring together 50+ speakers across 33+ sessions, international names alongside renowned Sri Lankan authors, creating a dynamic exchange of ideas and perspectives.
