Tavish Gunasena’s photo exhibition ‘Scrubland: East Coast Essays’ is now on at the Barefoot Gallery. Through his black and white photographs, Tavish explores the symbiotic relationship between the natural world and the coastal communities, steeped in tradition.

The exhibition is on until December 13.

The National Trust of Sri Lanka’s 20th anniversary celebrations and Dr Roland Silva Oration will take place on Wednesday, November 26 at 5 p.m. at the College of Surgeons, 6 Independence Avenue, Colombo 7. Dr Nilan Cooray, Director General of the Central Cultural Fund will deliver the oration.
