Chathurika Sirisena's book titled 'Janadipathi Thathta' (my father, the President) takes a look at the untold story of President Sirisena's journey from the linage of a farming family in the North Central region to the rank of Sri Lanka's President was launched today (Sept 15).
President Sirisena was the Chief Guest at the event and cremonially received the first copy of the book.
The story is told from Ms Chathurika's point of view as the eldest daughter of a political leader and details her own experience as well as the President's journey, a statement said.
