Miss Earth- Water 2016, Stephanie de Zorzi  arrived in Sri Lanka, representing the Miss Earth Foundation to attend the grand finale of the Derana Offmarks Miss Sri Lanka for Miss Earth 2017 beauty pageant on Sunday, August 13.

008The Venezuelan model took the crown of Miss Earth-Water at the international beauty pageant held in Philippines last year. A passion for travelling and working to one’s own schedule were what prompted her interest in the modelling industry, she told the Sunday Times. Candice Swanepoel, South African top-model for Victoria’s Secret was her role model and inspiration in the field.

Stephanie was trained in the various disciplines of modeling such as walking on the ramp, performing in front of a camera and public along with personality and self-esteem development as a model from the Katty Pulido International beauty academy and modeling agency in Venezuela.

“To be a successful model or a beauty pageant winner, you need confidence in yourself. Every woman is beautiful in a unique way. But no matter how beautiful you are, if you don’t have the confidence to face the public, you won’t be a winner. Having a positive attitude when dealing with people is also important,” Stephanie states as the essential qualities which are needed excel in the field. Follow your own style of modelling, be confident and be passionate in what you do, is her advice to aspiring models.

Having to be in perfect shape is the biggest challenge faced in the industry, according to Stephanie. “If a model is following up a healthy food style, maintaining her figure is not a difficult task,” she asserts.

Stephanie previously held the titles of Miss Aragua 2013 hosted by the Organization of Miss Venezuela and Miss Venezuela Tierra 2013 at Miss Venezuela 2013 pageant.
