Caroline Jurie, who was crowned Mrs. World 2020 at the World Pageant held in Las Vegas, United States, called on Colombo Mayor Rosy Senanayake.
Ms Senanayake held the crown 35-years ago.
The meeting took place at the Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) where she was warmly welcomed with traditional drummers.
Energy Ministry differs on proposed electricity tariff reduction from today.
The Energy Ministry has decided to go ahead with the PUCSL recommendation of reducing the electricity tariff by an average of 20 per cent, Energy Minister Kumara Jayakody said today.
