Rocky's boxing gloves will soon be up for sale at an auction, according to foreign media.
Actor Sylvester Stallone is reportedly auctioning off memorabilia from some of his most famous flicks, including the boxing gloves he wore in the hit Philly-set film series, Philly.com reported.
Among the hundreds of itmes --- a U.S. Army jacket and knife from the action franchise, "Rambo."Heritage Auctions will moderate the Stallone sale on Oct. 14 and 15, the AP reported.
Stallone released a statement saying, "I saw the John Wayne auction and I thought it would have been so much more effective if John Wayne had still been alive so he could explain to his fans what some of his pieces meant to him. I'm not that young, but still aware enough to appreciate the people that will appreciate owning (these items)."
Part of the proceeds will go to military charities, Philly.com reported.
