The Bishop’s College Auditorium will throw open its doors to an intimate evening of music as the inimitable Rukshan Perera portrays his combustible energy on January 18 at ‘Rukshan Perera Live In Concert V’.
The concert organised by the Rotary Club of Colombo Metropolitan is in aid of the Rotary Foundation. This year Colombo Metropolitan is launching a flagship initiative called ‘Lama Piyasa – Ragama Rehabilitation Hospital Project’, which involves the construction and administration of a rehabilitation ward for juvenile victims of abuse and neglect and seeks assistance from the Rotary Foundation.
Rukshan Perera has delighted audiences around the world for several years with his commitment to music – he has performed at jazz/pop concerts in New York, Los Angeles, Washington, New Jersey, Boston, Chicago, Texas and Minnesota in the United States of America (USA), Canada, India, Dubai, Afghanistan, Denmark, Switzerland, Germany and Perth, Melbourne and Sydney in Australia. This will be his fifth concert since returning home to Sri Lanka from the USA and for those who have yet to experience his magic, this is truly a ‘must see/must feel’ performance.
