“Floreat” organized by the Royal College Union took place this weekend at the Nelum Pokuna theatre, Colombo 7. This time the concert coincided with the 125th anniversary of the Royal College Union.
The combination of Jazz, Pop, Classical, Rock and Fusion music a unique experience was in store for the audience. The attractive lineup included Bathiya Jayakody and Santhush Weeraman(BnS), along with Kishani Jayasinghe, Umara Singhewansa,Umaria Singhewansa,Ashanthi De Alwis, Randhir Witana, Chitral (Chity) Somapala, Dushyanth Weeraman and the Estonian mezzo-soprano Monika-Evelin Liiv.
They were accompanied by Soundarie David & Soul Sounds and backed by Mahesh Denipitiya and the orchestra.
