Day two of Swim Week Colombo Luxury Resort wear was at the Shangri-La Hotel Ballroom on the 7th of July. The showcase kicked of with the emerging designer segment that saw Anushika Perera, Udaya Wickramasinghe and Nayani Fernando take the stage. Udaya’s collection was absolutely beautifully crafted and was primarily in shades of blue.
The local designers that showcased were, Aviva, Conscience, Sonali, Meraki, Aqua Island and Pigeon Island. Ajay Vir Singh showcased his brand Pigeon Island for the first time with a collection created to save species of turtles and sharks on Pigeon Island. The collection by Meraki stood out for having gothic vibes as well as having asymmetrical elements.
The finale of Swim Week Colombo was the showcase by International brand HAH | Hot - As – Hell. The collection comprised of beautifully created netting fabrics and soft beautiful colours. This is the first time that HAH has showcased in Sri Lanka and it was truly spectacular end to a fantastic fashion week.
