More than a thousand bottles of liquor worth Rs. 650,000 was nabbed from a vehicle following a raid carried out by the Excise Department.
The department in a media release noted that the bottles of liquor were manufactured in Wennappuwa.
The suspects have been released on bail and will be produced before the Marawila Magistrates Court next Tuesday
