An 18-hour water cut will be imposed in the Kadawatha area tomorrow ( Sept 25) to carry out an essential improvement to the bridge under construction across the Kadawatha outer circular expressway, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board said.
Under the first phase, a water cut will be enforced from 9.00 am tomorrow (Sept 25) till 3.00 am on Sept 26 along all roads and by-roads along Kossinna to Kirindiwita on the Kadawatha-Ganemulla road.
The water cut will also be imposed in the Grama Seva areas of Ganemulla, Galahitiya, Katuwalamulla, Kossinna, Parakandeniya, Pahala Yagoda, Horagolla, Thibbatugoda, Kudabollana, Midellawita, Rathmalwita and Kosowita.
Under the second phase, a water cut will be imposed from 3.00 pm tomorrow till 9.00 pm on (Sept 25) along all roads and by-roads from Kadawatha to Polhena on the Kadawatha-Ganemulla road and the Grama Seva areas of Welipillewa, Dangahawela, Ihala Karagahamuna, and Mahara, said the NWS&DB.
