A major accomplice of Underworld mobster “Harak Kata”, identified as “Rame Sudda”, has been arrested while in possession of heroin in Akuressa, STF said today.
According to information received by the STF Crime Suppression Division II, they conducted a raid in Henegama, Akuressa yesterday (January 20) where a 35 year old was arrested in possession of 21g and 230mg of heroin.
The suspect arrested, who is a resident of Weligama, was identified to be “Rame Sudda”, a major accomplice of “Harak Kata” and had supported the assassination of “Midigama Hichchi Malli” under his directions.
The STF states that the total amount of seized heroin during the period of a two and a half years amounts to 234 kg.
