President Anura Kumara Dissanayake visited the Sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy today, seeking blessings as he prepares to begin his term in office.
The President signed the VIP visitors' book and was presented with a silver vase by Diyawadana Nilame.
President Dissanayake later paid his respects and received blessings from the Mahanayake Theras of Malwatta and Asgiri Chapters.
