Today is the final day of the Committee Stage debate of Budget 2024. The expenditure head of the Ministry of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies will be debated today (13).
The ministry is under President Ranil Wickremesinghe and he is currently in Parliament delivering a special statement on the International Monetary Board's (IMF) first review under its Extended Fund Facility (EFF) arrangement for Sri Lanka.
The Committee Stage debate of Budget 2024 ran for 19 days from November 22 until today. A vote on the Third Reading of Budget 2024 is scheduled to be held at 6.00pm today.
