Businessman shot and killed in Hanwella

News

A businessman shot and injured in the Hanwella area by unidentified persons succumbed to his injuries , Police said today.

Two persons arrived on a motorcycle at the businessman’s food outlet and one of them had opened fire at the owner last night.

The victim was admitted to the Padukka hospital where he succumbed to injuries.

The motive of the shooting or the identity of the persons responsible for the shooting was not known immediately.
