The Governor of the Central Bank has been ranked to the 5th of the new protocol of the government.
The Governor post that was previously in the 20th rank in the Table of Precedence has been elevated to the 5th position, sharing it with the Leader of the Opposition, Cabinet Ministers and Field Marshall.
The CB Governor in his new ranking will be above Ambassadors, the Attorney General and Members of Parliament (MP).
This is intended to be applied during state and ceremonial occasions.
