CCD unearths more details of Ganemulla Sanjeewa’s murderer
The Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) had unearthed more details about the gunman involved in the Ganemulla Sanjeewas murder.
The suspect identified as Samindu Dilshan Piyumanga Kandanarachchi (27) has been revealed to be the shooter involved in the incident of shooting at a house in the Veediya Mawatha area of the Kadana Police Division. The suspect who was also identified as an organized criminal, he had used a T-56 firearm during the shooting that occurred on 13.12.2024 and fled.

The CCD is currently investigating the suspect who acted as shooter in the shooting and murder of Ganemulla Sanjeewa after detaining the suspect under a 90 day detaining order.
However the female accomplice, Ishara Sewuwandi involved in Ganemulla Sanjeewa’s murder has been evading arrest since the incident.
