The confirmed deaths of 13 COVID-19 patients last night brought the number of COVID related fatalities to 422.
The deceased were 12 males and one female, with the youngest being 46 and the oldest victim being 86 years of age. The victims were residents of Nuwara Eliya, Agarapathana, Peliyagoda, Bombuwala, Kalutara, Neboda, Maggona, Gampola, Panadura, Weuda and Nugegoda.
Six of the victims had died at home, it was further stated.
