COVID kills another 3, death toll increases to 222
A 53-year-old male from Meethirigala, a 62-year-old male from Beruwala and an 89-year-old male from Colombo 14 died from COVID-19 related complications on Thursday (7), the Director General of Health Services confirmed.
The three deaths increased the total number of COVID deaths to 222. On Thursday, another 525 persons tested positive for Coronavirus bringing the number of cases from the second wave to 43,023.
