Dayasiri Jayasekara tested positive for COVID-19
State Minister of Batik, Handloom Fabrics and Local Apparel Products Dayasiri Jayasekara has tested positive for COVID-19, an official from Public Health Inspectors (PHI) Union said.
Currently, he is undergoing medical care at a hotel turned quarantine centre in Hikkaduwa.
An official from the Parliament Communication department said that the Minister did not attend the firts Parliament sittings of the year which commenced on January 5.
