For nature lovers, the Young Zoologists’ exhibition ‘KinWild’, this year held at the JDA Perera Gallery on Horton Place will provide a chance to see fascinating array of wildlife art and photographs presented by young artist and photographers. The exhibition that opens on November 1, will continue over the weekend –November 2nd and 3rd.

Looking to de-stress? Check out the Sri Lanka Bonsai Association’s annual exhibition of Bonsai “Reflections 2024 - Living Images” on November 9 and 10 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.  at the J.D.A. Perera Gallery, Horton Place, Colombo 7. Demonstrations will be held at 3 p.m. on the 9th and 11 a.m. on the 10th.

Taking as their theme ‘Innovation Island’, the annual Sri Lanka Design Festival (SLDF) is set to take place on a grand scale next week.

Organised by the Academy of Design (AOD), one of Sri Lanka’s leading design education institutes, the festival celebrates the role played by creative industries in driving economic recovery and social progress as SLDF marks 15 years of advancing innovation, creativity, and collaboration.

An exciting blend of exhibitions, immersive workshops, discussions, and interactive experiences will unfold from November 7 to 10 at the recently opened Cinnamon Life City of Dreams.
