Dilith Jayaweera enters politics
Businessman Dilith Jayaweera has entered politics after being appointed as the leader of the Mawbima Janatha Party (MJP), according to the list of office bearers announced by the Elections Commission.
Hemakumara Nanayakkara has been named the senior leader of the Mawbima Janatha Party, which will contest elections under the airplane symbol, according to the office-bearers of the party listed by the Elections Commission.
