The Election Commission has issued a gazette notification announcing Lakshman Nipuna Arachchi as Member of Parliament for the Colombo Electoral District in place of Anura Kumara Dissanayake who resigned from the post.
Mr. Dissanayake resigned from parliament after he was elected president.
