The Minster of Education, Susil Premajayantha had ordered the ministry secretary to issue letters to principals of all schools to not entertain political within schools.
The move came after a group of political activists of frontline socialist party had conducted seminars for students in four provincial schools in Polonnaruwa, Moratuwa, Nawagamuwa and Athurugiriya.
He had warned that actions would be taken against principals who entertain such activities.
It was also added that the principals of the four schools operated under provincial councils have given permission for the activists to have a seminar for students.
