An announcement of the date to conduct the Local Government election will be made soon after the Parliamentary election is concluded on November 14, the Election Commission said today.
The Commission has made arrangements to go ahead with the polls, keeping with a Court order issued earlier.
The LG polls were originally due to be held in 2023, but was delayed due to a range of reasons including the lack of funds.
