Showers or thundershowers are predicted for several areas in Central, Sabaragamuwa and Southern Provinces after 4:00 pm, the Department of Meteorology said.
A few showers are due in Eastern and Uva Provinces as well as in Matale and Polonnaruwa Districts.
Parts of Central and Sabaragamuwa Provinces and Galle and Matara Districts will have misty mornings.
Customs have detected 228 mobile phones and tabs valued at over Rs 30 million left behind in the duty free shopping complex at the Banaranaike International Airport today, Customs officials said.
