Showers or thundershowers are forecasted for over most of the island today (19) after 1:00 pm, the Department of Meteorology says.
Occasional rains are most likely in Northern, North-central and Eastern Provinces.
Uva Province and Hambantota District will see a few showers.
Moderately heavy rainfall over 75mm is due at certain areas in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Eastern Provinces.
Parts of Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern Provinces will have misty mornings.
